5 Things I Loved This Month – June 2020

Hi, everyone! Today I am sharing five of my favorite products from the month of June. I’m honestly excited to share these things with you because I am obsessed with them! They are definitely being added to my must-have list.

1. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

I recently bought this and have only used it for a few weeks but it’s already a holy grail product. This is my first time using hyaluronic acid and I’m mad I didn’t start sooner. Hyaluronic acid increases hydration in the skin, making it glowy and plump.ย  My skin went from dry and flaky to glowy, smooth and moisturized. Even my boyfriend noticed a difference in my skin! I recommend everyone put this in their skincare routine, even those with oily and mature skin. Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by the body but as we age our bodies produce less.

2. Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocadoย

Okay, I know I talk about this all the time but it’s because it’s the best eye cream of all time. I have dry eyes because of allergies and I’ve tried a bunch of eye creams (drugstore and high-end) to help and this is it! It’s thick, creamy, and hydrating. It feels almost like an under-eye mask because when I wake in the morning I can still feel it on. It doesn’t fully absorb into the skin overnight and I prefer that!

3. Finishing Touch Flawless Brows

I’m not a huge fan of getting my eyebrows done because they always come out too thin for my liking. Therefore, I’ve been doing my own brows for years now. I recently tried this out and loved it! I don’t have thick brows, so this is perfect for touch-ups and cleaning up the middle of the brow quickly. I still tweeze to get precise unwanted hairs. This tool is perfect for quick touch-ups when you’re rushing.

4. Himalayan Salt Lamp

Can we appreciate how gorgeous this is? Okay, I love this for setting a vibe in my room. I get sleepy vibes, chill vibes, and relaxing vibes. I turn this on 2 hours before I fall asleep so I can relax and get sleepy. It has a dimmer, which I love because I can choose to have it bright or super dim. It’s also a gorgeous decor piece for the bedroom. Each lamp is unique so it comes in different sizes and is around 5 pounds. It’s made from Himalayan Salt crystal.ย

5. The Last Mrs. Parrish

I have a love/hate relationship with this book. The first part is about a girl doing everything in her power to become “the last Mrs. Parrish”, meaning a rich housewife. She’s determined to get her riches and her man no matter what or who gets in her way. The second part caught me off guard and was a twist I wasn’t expecting! I liked the first part more than than the second, but if you read it you’ll know why. Overall, I liked it and it was good entertainment. 7/10, would recommend. It’s a great summer read!ย
