I can’t believe Halloween is almost here! This year I wanted to create costumes straight from my closet. I thought it would be so much easier and less expensive (free, tbh) to create costumes that you can easily recreate with your own clothes! If you don’t happen to have a piece, I linked everything you need to make it easier for you to get your Halloween costume ready!
rachel green (friends)
Friends just had their 25th anniversary, so I thought dressing up as one of the characters was very necessary. I chose Rachel Green because she is my favorite! Rachel is a fashion enthusiast so she is always wearing trendy outfits. She mostly wears plaid, denim and mini skirts. I recreated this outfit by wearing a white sweater, plaid skirt and white high knee socks. Her outfits are actually pretty trendy for today’s generation, so you probably already have some pieces in your closet to make this costume!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
• BLACK SHOES
• A WATCH
70’s girl
You can chose any decade, but I love 70’s fashion so I chose to be a 70’s girl! This costume was super easy for me to create because my mom recently gave me her vintage Levi flare jeans. I wore them with a bell-sleeve top and added a sunflower to my hair! Also, sunglasses and platform wedges completes this groovy costume!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Sabrina Spellman (chilling adventures of sabrina)
I loved all the outfits Sabrina wears in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and I already had a red dress. Since my dress didn’t have a collar, I added a white collared shirt underneath to replicate this outfit she wears in the show. Add some black tights, a necessary black headband, a red lip and you’re ready for some witchy adventures.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
• BLACK SHOES

This is probably my favorite costume! It’s an all black outfit with a dark lip and gold jewelry, what more could I ask for in a costume. Peasant tops have been trending all year so you probably already have one in your closet. Pair it with a black midi skirt and a ton of gold jewelry and your fortune teller costume is complete! This might be random, but I already had this coin skirt in my closet from a talent show I did in 8th grade lol. But if you don’t happen to have one (obviously) then I linked one from Amazon that’s only $6! I also decided to complete the look with purple eyeshadow and a dark lip. I used the Jaclyn Hill palette and Revlon’s lipstick in Dark Cherry.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
• A TON OF GOLD JEWELRY
• SANDALS
Little Red Riding Hood
This is a cute Halloween costume for those who aren’t fans of the scary stuff. Something you already have in your closet is a red dress and maybe a red jacket. For the rest of the costume, I just curled my hair and threw on some red lipstick with almost doll-like makeup, because she’s young. Honestly, an all red outfit with a red hoodie will suffice for this costume! You can also carry around a basket and walk around with your dog to portray the wolf!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
• BLACK SHOES
• A BASKET

Witch
This costume is super simple to create because if you’re anything like me you love the color black, therefore, you already own all the pieces (except the hat) you’ll need for this look. You can wear any black dress and shoes you have, then just go to your local dollar store and buy the broom and hat! I linked a witch hat and broom below to make it easier for you. This costume is quick, easy and cheap!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
• BLACK SMOKEY EYE & LIP (MAC CYBER LIPSTICK)
• BLACK BOOTS

I like all the makeup looks you did with each costume! That defineitly helps make each one more ‘in theme’. You could also do Wednesday Adams from the Adams family! I’ve never actually seen that show but its a pretty simple outfit.
I love that movie and the only reason I didn’t do Wednesday was because I was her a few years ago. Super easy costume!
