I can’t believe September is here! I swear I blinked in January and now it’s almost Fall. Like what? It’s honestly fine with me though because that means a change of weather, routines, and a new wardrobe. 

For this Fall 2021 fashion guide, I wanted to include classics and trends. As much as I love fashion trends, I think having classic pieces is smart because they’ll last you for years and your wallet will thank you. Blazers, Chelsea boots, and mom jeans are staples.

On the other hand, I’m obsessed with the #1 trend of Fall fashion platform loafers. Have you seen these Prada shoes? Gorgeous. I die every time I see the price. Anyway, these are pieces that I think are classics and trendy for Fall 2021.

Blouses + Tops

Polo tops, white button-ups, and sweetheart necklines are classic for Fall. They’re essential clothing pieces that will continue to be in style year after year. On the trendier side, wrap tops, sweater vests and cutouts are going to be popular this season.

Mom jeans, straight jeans, and trousers will always be Fall staples. They’re simple yet elegant pieces that pair well with multiple outfits. On the other hand, ripped baggy jeans, leather pants, and plaid mini skirts are on trend this seaon. Two major trends this Fall season are 90’s grunge and light/dark academia. A plaid blazer, trench coat, and cardigan are the go-to for Fall. All three can do no wrong, so don’t be afraid to invest in these pieces. As for the trends, puffer jackets, bolero sweaters, and faux shearling jackets are going to be everywhere this Fall.

Yes, those are indeed cowgirl boots. It’s a trend I’m not that into, but some people can really work it. The trendiest shoe this season are loafers, particularly platform loafers. Another one is platform converse, but good luck trying to find it because they’re currently sold out everywhere. As for the classics, ankle boots are worth investing in because they’re a staple that goes with a lot of outfits. Other classics include mules, white sneakers, and Chelsea boots.
