Perfect for students, entrepreneurs, or anyone with a busy schedule. The Headway app makes it easy for those who want to read more because you can read or listen to a book while commuting or in line at a coffee shop. The app features a wide range of topics such as:
- Productivity

- And so much more
They also have fun features such as personalized reading challenges, trophies, streaks, and more.
What Does the Headway App Feature?
The Headway app provides fun and interactive ways to keep you reading and learning. Here is everything the Headway app has to offer:
1. 2,000 Book Summaries

With 2,000 book summaries to choose from, you’re sure to find books that have been on your reading list for a while. They also regularly come out with trending nonfiction books, so more books are always being added to their library. Here are some popular nonfiction books included:
- Atomic Habits by James Clear
- Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
- The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins
- The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel
- The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey
2. 15-minute summaries in text & audio
You can choose to read, listen, or read while listening! I find that when I’m tired but still want to read something, listening to the audio and following along with the text helps me stay focused. Luckily, Headway allows you to choose how you want to read or listen. The audio is performed by professional male and female voice actors, plus you get to choose the voice and the reading speed. They break down the book into concise 15-minute summaries to give you the key points you need.

3. Achievements, spaced repetitions, Progress & streaks

Headway keeps you motivated and inspired to keep reading and learning in multiple ways. First, by collecting achievements so you can feel proud of yourself for reaching your goals. Another is through spaced repetitions, where you can see your highlighted phrases transformed into interactive flashcards. It also tracks how many books you’ve finished and pages you’ve read. Lastly, it tracks your streaks so you can make reading a new habit.
4. Personalized challenges
Not sure what to read? No problem, Headway creates self-growth challenges where it chooses what books for you to read based on your preferences. It serves as a daily boost of motivation so you can grow day by day. The challenges range from 5 to 40 days, including topics of Wellness, Self-confidence, Decision Fatigue, Success, and more. I loved the Morning Routine 5-day challenge because I had something to read every morning!

Why I Started Using It
Between work, family, friends, and a growing fiction reading list, I couldn’t find the time to read non-fiction. I still wanted to stay inspired, learn something new, but without the pressure of finishing long books. So when I heard about Headway, I knew it was perfect for me. I only like reading non-fiction in the morning because I want to unwind and relax at night with my fiction books. I also don’t have much time in the morning, so I love that the book summaries are only 15 minutes.
My Favorite Features:
Here are my favorite summaries I’ve read and enjoyed so far:

How It Fits Into My Routine
I start my mornings with a book summary instead of scrolling on social media. Social media makes me anxious in the mornings, so switching to reading/micro-learning with the Headway app has made me motivated and inspired to start my day off right. If you want to end your scrolling addiction, then now is the perfect time. Replace doom scrolling with micro-learning to decrease anxiety and boost inspiration. It helps me stay intentional with my morning routine by focusing on being 1% better every day. I also get to learn something new every day! Headway can naturally fit into your routine, too, because you can listen when commuting or read while standing in line.
Is It Worth It? My Honest Thoughts
If you’re a student, entrepreneur, or have a busy schedule but still want to improve your life, career, or learn more, then I recommend this app! You’ll have access to 2,000 book summaries that you can read or listen to, earn streaks, track your progress, receive curated collections and challenges, and be able to download summaries for offline access to learn on the go. The one thing to consider is that you can’t create multiple profiles, but you can still share the subscription with others by simply logging into multiple devices. I’m logged into three devices, plus I share it with someone else.
Another thing to note is that it’s not a replacement for reading full books, but a great tool for inspiration and learning. It’s a great way to learn the main ideas first, then decide if you want to read the full book. It’s also great if you read a book a few years ago but want a refresher on the important parts.
Overall, the Headyway app will help you learn and grow even with a busy lifestyle. It has helped me stay on track with reading more nonfiction books without disrupting my current schedule. With just 15 minutes a day, you can stay inspired, motivated, and learn something new every day.
Until next time,
