Transform from a cute Bratz doll during the day to a killer at night. Last minute Halloween makeup that’s quick and easy.
I love Halloween and I love makeup so I thought doing a Halloween makeup look was necessary! This day to night makeup is perfect if you have work during the day and a Halloween party at night. This is how to transform from a cute Bratz doll ??♀️ during the day to a killer at night ?
bratz doll makeup
Fun fact, I was obsessed with Bratz dolls when I was a kid. Like I had a huge boxed filled with them until about a few months ago. I finally decided to donate them to let someone else enjoy them as much as I did. I ALWAYS asked for Bratz NOT Barbies. Bratz had a certain look to them that I loved, so it was fitting that I turned myself into one this Halloween. This makeup look is quick and easy to do. Perfect to do right before work or school!
HOW TO:
STEP 1: Find inspo on Pinterest or Instagram. I found this picture on Instagram by @monsterlool. She turns Bratz dolls into “Instagram baddies”, it’s so cool!
STEP 2: I always start with my brows. The Bratz dolls have thin high arched brows with a short tail. I used this eyebrow kit to fill in my brows and used the powder to make my brows lighter because she has medium brown eyebrows.
STEP 3: All the Bratz dolls have glam makeup. I used this palette for the whole look. I started by taking Silk Creme, a light brown shade, all over the lid, to make blending the rest of the shadows easier. Then I took Pooter, medium brown shade, into my crease, from almost the inner corner of my eye to the end of my brow. This is so my eyes look bigger. I then took Mocha, dark brown shade, to darken the crease.
STEP 4: Now it’s time to cut the crease. To do this, add a bit of concealer on your lid and look up. When you look up, the concealer will mark where you should cut your crease. Blend the concealer and add Silk Creme, light brown shade, on top. To add a bit of glitter like the photo, I patted S.B.N, a glitter brown shade, on top. I also added more Mocha to the crease to keep it dark.
STEP 5: Next, I added a wing to the ends of my eyes to replicate their long eyelashes. You can easily put on false eyelashes, but I didn’t have any. Then, I added Mocha, dark brown shade, close to my lower lashline and then Pooter, medium brown shade, to smoke it out. For that doll eye effect, I added this nude eyeliner pencil to my waterline. Then, I put on two coats of my favorite voluminous mascara to finish off the eyes.
STEP 6: For the face makeup, Bratz have flawless skin (because they’re dolls) so I just put this concealer under my eyes and all over my face. I lightly contoured and highlighted my face. It doesn’t look like this doll has any blush so I skipped that. I did contour my nose to make it look smaller. Then, I set my face with this powder.
STEP 7: Finally, the lips! I feel like this is the most important part of the Bratz doll makeup look because their lips are their signature touch. I used this lip liner to overline my lips and used this lipstick to fill them in. Lastly, I added a beauty mark under my eye to finish the look!
NOW LET’S TRANSFORM INTO A KILLER
bloody killer
This was originally going to be a “dead girl”, but I wanted the girl to win and kill the killer, therefore, becoming the killer herself. As you can see, she had to put up a fight but she won the battle. I left on the previous makeup to take this from day to night.
HOW TO:
STEP 1: Start by taking a black eyeliner pencil and drawing a line following your cheekbone. Take a red lipstick and draw a line on top of that, then start blending those two together with an eyeshadow brush. Make sure that the ends of the cut are thin and the center is wide.
STEP 2: Next, start adding blue, black and red eyeshadow to the cut. This will make the cut look like it’s deep and almost drying. If you don’t have any fake blood, like me, mix red lipstick and clear gloss together and add that to the center of the cut. This makes the cut more realistic.
STEP 3: Start smearing the makeup downward to make it look like the blood is dripping. Honestly, there’s no right or wrong way to do this so there’s no need to be precise. Keep adding more blood, or black, red and blue eyeshadow until you’re satisfied with how it looks.
STEP 4: For the lips, I added whatever was left over on the brush I was using for the wound and added it to the center of my lips. This makes it look like my lips were bleeding and now starting to dry. Finally, I added red, black, brown and blue eyeshadow to my hand. Add some fake blood to make it look fresh! Now you’re a badass killer ?
Have fun going from a cute Bratz doll during the day to a killer at night. Happy Halloween, everyone ???
