AUGUST RESET ROUTINE: Goal Setting, Fitness Journey & Monthly Favorites
August monthly reset routine talking about goal setting for a new month, my health & fitness journey, and my monthly favorites.
July was my getting back into fitness month. I feel like my workouts were slow and not progressive. I wanted to challenge myself and see how strong I really am. July was also just a chill summer month, so let’s reset and get ready for August.
This is the monthly reset routine I follow every month.

For the month of July, I focused on HIIT workouts. I went down the rabbit hole on how to lose excess fat and saw that 15 minutes of HIIT (high-intensity interval training) three times a week is the answer. So far I’m liking the results, but I’ll keep you updated on my fitness journey in the future! I always try to eat healthy meals so this goal was easy. My morning and night routines always change because life isn’t the same every day and I’ve learned that having the same exact routine every day for my life isn’t practical.
I read the Summer Girl by Elle Kennedy and I review it at the end of this post! Still haven’t created a language page but I did create my social media calendar! Creating a content calendar is easy, sticking to it is another story lol. I posted more IG stories but I can do better. July was a slow blog month but I hate forcing myself to write about topics I’m not passionate about.

The Summer Girl by Elle Kennedy
This was my favorite book of the three! Cassie is visiting her grandma for the summer to help her pack up everything and move to Boston. Cassie wants a summer fling for the few months she’s there and thinks Tate Bartlett is the perfect candidate. Tate is no stranger to flings but he knows Cassie would want something more. After putting her in the friend zone, the line between friendship and something more is crossed more than once. Cassie and Tate are now left with this weird in-between and Avalon Bay’s secrets that leave everyone in shock. I loved the characters in this one. It had drama, romance, secrets, and lots of spice. Perfect to read before summer ends!
my rating: 8/10
Wild Fable Slides
When walking around Target one day I saw that they had these cute slides for only $15. They’re perfect as house/cleaning shoes. I needed house sandals for warmer days because slippers are way too hot. They’re comfortable, thick, and affordable. Loving them so far! They fit true to size and come in multiple colors.
growingannanas from YouTube
I found growingannanas when I was looking for HIIT workouts one day and I loved her videos! She is easy to follow, has upbeat music, and a timer for you to follow along. She has a variety of workout videos for anyone to follow. From cardio, HIIT, abs, legs, glutes, etc., you’ll find a workout video you’ll love too! If you really want to sweat and challenge yourself, then this is my favorite workout for that!
Until next time,
