February monthly reset talking about goal setting, reset routine and sharing my monthly favorites.
Welcome to my new series where I will be sharing my monthly reset routine, goals and intentions, and share my monthly favorites. Every month I will take time to set goals I want to accomplish. I will reflect on the previous month’s goals and share my favorite products, shows, books, and more for that month. I’m very excited about this new series so make sure to subscribe to never miss a monthly reset post. Let’s get started!
This is the monthly reset routine I will be following every month!
February Monthly Reset
Last Month’s Goals
I’m the type of person who loves the new year, new month, and new week. It’s a chance to start new, refresh, and take time to reflect. I was sick at the beginning of January so I missed out on my monthly reset but I still created my yearly and monthly goals. For January I wanted to:
• Read 1 book (I read It Starts With Us by Colleen Hoover and I really liked it!)
• Create a morning routine (My main goal was to cut out social media in the morning and I typically only look at Instagram stories when I eat breakfast, so I say it’s a win! You can read more about my routine here)
• Create a night routine (The goal was to not be on TikTok for too long and work out on the days I’m home, and I’ve done that all month! You can read more about my routine here)
• Create a workout routine (I’m the type of person to always switch up their workouts but I did create a schedule: Monday is pilates, Wednesday is legs and glutes, and Friday is cardio)
• Organize, declutter and buy new clean makeup (I got rid of old makeup, and got a new makeup bag but didn’t buy any new makeup, so half a win)
• Try 1 new recipe (For some reason, I didn’t do this so I’ll add it to next month’s goals)
I only missed one goal but that’s fine because I’ll add it to February’s goals! I would say I did well for the month of January, considering I was sick for the first two weeks.
Journal Prompts
What did I accomplish this month?
I accomplished almost all my goals and stuck to new routines and habits. This was more difficult than I thought but I’m so happy I actually did it. Hopefully, these routines and habits will stick in February.
How was I feeling this month? Why?
I was feeling a little behind because I was sick for the first two weeks of the month. I was disappointed that I couldn’t get some blog posts up in time, but I ended up just writing and publishing them later.
What events happened this month?
I was sick with a cold on New Year’s but my boyfriend still made it special by taking me to see the fireworks. I honestly thought I was going to celebrate on my own, so I was very happy about that. Also, we celebrated my little (not so little) brother’s birthday!
List some things you learned this month.
I learned two things this month. First, self-care isn’t selfish. Taking care of my body, skin, nails, and hair makes me feel and look good. Having a pamper and maintenance routine has been fun and relaxing! Second, self-discipline and self-love go hand in hand. When you love and care for your body, you start to eat healthier and exercise because it’s important for your mental and physical health.
What can I do better next month?
For February, I want to focus on making video content for TikTok and Instagram. I also want to scroll less on TikTok and Instagram because my screen time in January was actually embarrassing.
Highs and Lows
Highs: Accomplishing almost all my goals and sticking to my daily habits. I got a new makeup bag to stay organized. Also bought cute glass cups for my coffee in the morning and I absolutely love them.
Lows: Being a little behind on everything because I was sick for two weeks.
February Goals
January was my “trial month”. I was getting over being sick, I was creating new routines and I was just trying out this new monthly reset routine. February will be the real deal where I actually set Life, Work, and Health & Wellness goals.
Health + Wellness:
• Try 1 new healthy recipe
• Workout 3x a week
• Listen to more wellness podcasts
Life:
• Read 1 book
• Practice Spanish on Duolingo
• Keep decorating the bedroom
Work:
• Post consistently on Instagram and TikTok
• Post more IG stories
• Post 4 blog posts

It Starts With Us by Colleen Hoover
For this month’s read, it was It Start With Us by Colleen Hoover. If you read the first book, then I think you would love this one. It was a closure story for all the characters. This one is more focused on Atlas’ story so the chapters are split between his perspective and Lily’s perspective. It was a good read and I rate it 7/10.
Ginny and Georgia
I was hesitant to watch this because I usually don’t like shows where high schoolers are the main characters. It’s actually more focused on the mom, Georgia, and her story is very interesting. The show is about a mother-daughter relationship and the lengths a mother would go through to protect her kids. Some parts are light-hearted but other parts are kind of dark. Overall, loved both seasons!
Glass Cups with Lids and Straws
I finally caved and got those viral glass cups that are on my FYP on TikTok. This comes with a pack of four glasses, bamboo lids, and glass straws. At first, I thought drinking through a glass straw would be weird but it’s completely fine. They’re thick and sturdy so I’m not worried about them breaking. I use them for coffee, matcha lattes, water, and sparkling water. Highly recommend!
Makeup Bag
January was the month I decluttered and organized everything I had. My main goal this year is to finally switch all my beauty products to “clean” products. When I was going through my everyday makeup, I realized it was messy and hard to find things so I bought this makeup bag from Amazon and I love it. I can see everything so easily, find brushes quickly and everything has its own section.
Pill Organizer
I always forget to take my vitamins because “out of sight out of mind”. I thought if I bought a small pill organizer to put on my desk then I would remember. I’ve barely missed a day since I got these. I keep my daily vitamins on my desk and my nightly vitamins on my nightstand. These are small and compact so they’ll fit perfectly in your bag to take on the go. Literally the best purchase!
That’s a wrap on January 2023! This month I set up a great foundation for the rest of the year so I’m excited to see what February has in store. I hope you all have a great month and comment below what’s your reset routine!
