July monthly reset routine talking about goal setting for a new month, staying on track, and my monthly favorites.
Summer is officially here and I don’t know if I’m excited or scared of the heat that we are about to be hit with lol. I have a lot planned for the next two months, but before we talk about that let’s talk reflect on last month’s goals.
This is the monthly reset routine I follow every month.

Health + Wellness:
✓ Commit to a workout routine

Life:
✕ Read 1 1/2 books
✕ Create a language page on Notion
✕ Finish social media calendar on Notion
Work:
✕ Start posting on TikTok and IG again
✕ Post more IG stories
✕ Post 2 blog posts a week and a newsletter
Okay, so I clearly only focused on my health and wellness this month! I work out three times a week and walk every other day. I definitely ate more protein because of the new workout routine. I almost perfected my overnight steel-cut oats, but it’s been my go-to for meal prep for breakfast. I finished reading The Mistake by Elle Kennedy and I’ll review it at the end of this post! As you can see, I didn’t finish my other goals but I’ll just move them to July.

What did I accomplish this month?
This was a good work and wellness month! I worked with a brand on a blog post, I sold multiple Notion Templates and I stuck to my workout routine.
How was I feeling this month? Why?
I was feeling determined to stick to my wellness goals and also work hard on the blog. Self-discipline and determination help me stay focused on my goals.
What events happened this month?
Not many events happened this month! The only event was celebrating Father’s Day with my family.
List some things you learned this month.
If I really want something, self-discipline plays a key role in getting it.
What can I do better next month?
I really want to get back into reading, so I want to spend more time looking at a book than a screen.
Highs and Lows
Highs: Working with a brand on a blog post!
Lows: Not prioritizing sleep as much as I should.
July Goals
July is going to be hot in L.A. and I’m very moody when it comes to the heat. I’m not looking forward to that but I am looking forward to focusing on my work and life goals!

The Mistake by Elle Kennedy
I finished another Off-Campus book from Elle Kennedy. The second book of the series is called The Mistake and I honestly think I liked it better than the first one! This one focuses on John Logan, a star hockey player who has no trouble getting any girl he wants. When John meets freshman Grace, his priorities of partying and hooking up are changed. Grace is hesitant knowing John Logan’s past but John is determined to win her over.

Ilia The Necessary Eyeshadow Palette
If you are looking for a neutral eye shadow palette with clean ingredients, then this Ilia one is perfect for you. The colors are vivid, last all day, and look stunning for day or night. I wanted an everyday palette that is compact and has shimmer and matte shades. Highly recommend!
