My Current Favorites – May 2022

My current favorites including my new favorite skincare products, the must-have shorts of Summer 2022, and more.

Happy June, everyone! I hope you all had a relaxing weekend. To wrap up the month of May, I am sharing my current favorites. They include some new skincare products I’ve been loving and the album I will be listening to on repeat all Summer long.

May 2022 Current Favorites

REN Clean Skincare Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream

I originally bought this because it was on sale but I’ve also heard it’s amazing for dark circles. I’ve been wearing it for about 2 months now and I can’t say my dark circles are gone but my under eyes are smooth! I also love that this eye cream doesn’t have toxic ingredients, is moisturizing under the eyes, and helps with dark circles. If you watched Not So Pretty on HBO Max, you’re probably paranoid about what ingredients are in your skincare products now. This product is on the pricier side, but for clean ingredients, I’m all for it.

REN Skincare Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Toner

When I bought the eye cream it came in a set with this toner. I didn’t think I would see any results with this product, which is why I don’t have any pictures, but I feel like my face is brighter! I also thought my skin was dull but I’ve also been using this product for 2 months and I’ve noticed my skin is brighter and has more of an even skin tone. They sadly don’t sell the set of two anymore but they do have a small size of this toner for $20. This product also has clean non-toxic ingredients!

Claw Clips

Has your claw clip ever bothered you or felt uncomfortable on your head after a long day? Then you need these claw clips from Amazon! They come in a bunch of colors and styles. These clips have a matte finish, so they don’t slip off and they’re very comfortable. Highly recommend getting them for the Summer! The ones I have in particular are out of stock but I’ll let you know on my Instagram stories when they come back!

Cut-Off Denim Shorts

I recently got these cut-off denim shorts from H&M and I’m obsessed. I have felt insecure in shorts for years but it turns out I wasn’t wearing the right style for my shape. I prefer something a little more loose, longer and high-waisted. I’m 5’2″ so these shorts fit perfectly and look so flattering on. It’s crazy how we can go years thinking our bodies are the problem but in reality, it’s the clothes! Finding a good pair of shorts takes time so don’t be hard on yourself or your body because trust me, it’s the clothes, not you!

Bad Bunny – Un Verano Sin Ti

No joke, this is the album of the Summer (possibly year). Every song is *chef’s kiss*. I literally listen to it any chance I get. I feel like it has a good mix of slow and fast songs. This album just feels and sounds like Summer, so if you need a good Spanish album to listen to, this is the one.  My top 3 songs are Moscow Mule, Party, and Titi Me Pregunto.
