All The Shows I’m Currently Obsessed With – Netflix, Hulu & HBO Max

Sharing a list of all the shows I am currently obsessed with that are streaming on Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max.

Happy August, everyone! Today I am sharing the shows that I am currently obsessed with that are streaming on Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max. I hope this helps you with trying to find something to watch this week. There’s nothing I hate more than wanting to watch something and not being able to find anything.

A show that is not on this list because it’s on CBS is Love Island USA. Last season is still my favorite season and this season is a little boring but I am still watching! I don’t have a favorite couple though, none of them have chemistry.

Okay, enough rambling here are ten shows to watch on Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max.

Netflix

My Unorthodox Life

Genre: Lifestyle, Reality-TV
Number of Seasons: 1

I binged watched this show in a day, can’t lie about that. It’s about Julia Haart, her family, and their new life after leaving a strict Orthodox community. Julia left the community only 8 years ago and is now the CEO of the largest conglomerate of modeling agencies in the world. Very inspiring to watch and interesting to learn about the strict Orthodox community she lived in for years.

Who Killed Sara?

Genre: TV Mysteries
Number of Seasons: 2

This show is so addicting and so much drama. I was in shock almost every episode. It’s about a brother being framed for his sister’s murder and seeking revenge on the person who actually killed Sara. It’s originally in Spanish, but you can dub it in your language.

Heist

Genre: Crime, True Crime Documentary
Number of Seasons: 1

I currently try to watch a documentary every Sunday. I love learning new facts, experiences, and stories. This documentary is a series of three of the biggest heists in modern American history, as explained by the people who pulled them off. I like this series because they interviewed the people involved but also had good actors reenact it.

Hulu

American Horror Stories

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oyH8Rd6IOM&ab_channel=FXNetworks

Genre: Drama, Horror
Number of Seasons: 1 (not fully released)

If you like American Horror Story then you’ll love their new spin-off show American Horror Stories. Each episode is a different horror story that stands alone. It is not connected to the original AHS, so there’s no need to watch those seasons. It’s not fully released but a new episode comes out every Thursday.

Cruel Summer

Genre: Drama, Mystery
Number of Seasons: 1

Very addicting from the first episode. Popular girl, Kate, goes missing meanwhile Jeanette starts to take over her life. Kateโ€™s found alive and accuses Jeanette of seeing her kidnapping and not reporting it. Jeanette denies the accusation but still becomes the most hated person in America. Each episode focuses on the same day each year from 1993-1995. Itโ€™s definitely a teen drama but itโ€™s so addicting!

The Bold Type

Genre: Lifestyle & Culture, Drama
Number of Seasons: 5

The Bold Type officially ended last month and I can’t believe it. I watched it from the very beginning and loved everything about it. It’s about three best friends working for a women’s magazine in New York City. It dives into deeper topics like self-identity, sexuality, politics, love, and femininity.

Bob’s Burgers

Genre: Comedy, Animation
Number of Seasons: 11

Bob’s Burgers is my go-to feel-good show. It’s funny, light-hearted, and mildly inappropriate. It’s about Bob and his family working for their restaurant and all their shenanigans. It’s honestly hilarious and so entertaining to watch. My favorite character is definitely Louise!

planoly

HBO Max

The White Lotus

Genre: Comedy-drama, Satire
Number of Seasons: 1 (not fully released)

This one just came out last month so it’s not fully released yet. It’s about the staff and guests vacationing at an expensive hotel in Hawaii called The White Lotus. You get an inside look into each of the guest’s lives and some of the staff. It’s very much filled with satire, so don’t take it too seriously. Also, it’s filmed beautifully so I can’t stop watching.

Gossip Girl (Reboot)

Genre: Drama, Romance
Number of Seasons: 1 (not fully released)

I’m not totally obsessed with this show but I already started it so I need to know where it’s going. It’s supposed to be a reboot of the original Gossip Girl, but I am not getting GG vibes at all. It needs more drama and fashion, in my opinion.

Selena + Chef

Genre: Cooking
Number of Seasons: 2

I honestly love cooking shows, or anything that has to do with food, to be honest. And, it stars my favorite celebrity, Selena Gomez! Two for one. In each episode, Selena is taught how to cook something new by a master chef, through a video meeting. This is because it was shot during the pandemic. She also donates $10,000 to a charity of the chef’s choice.
