Summer means sun, beach days, pool days, tanning, and late nights. It also means it’s time to switch out beauty products to accommodate those occasions! O N E  |  Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Sunscreen Lotion – SPF 50: Protecting your skin is important when it comes to avoiding sun damage and wrinkles. A mineral based sunscreen is the best way to go because it doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals. This one is made with zinc and has SPF 50!

T W O  |  Coppertone Pure & Simple Sunscreen Lotion – SPF 50: This is also mineral based and perfect to apply all over your body!

T H R E E  |  Tree Hut Tropical Mango Shea Sugar Scrub: Want smooth legs and body this summer? Exfoliate! This one smells like a tropical vacation and leaves your skin feeling smooth and brand new!

F O U R  |  Unscented Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Dry Skin: After I exfoliate I apply a lotion to keep my skin moisturized and glowy! This is my all time favorite. It keeps my skin hydrated all day!

F I V E  |  Dead Sea Minerals Facial Anti-Stress Mask: After coming home from the beach or the pool, my skin feels dry and red from the sun. I love to apply this face mask to calm my skin and freshen it up! It feels cool on your face, perfect after a long day in the sun.

S I X  |  Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel with Pump: I change my moisturizer every season because my skin is either dry or oily. During the summer it’s more oily, so this one is perfect because it’s not too thick and not too thin. Amazing for oily skin because it hydrates the skin without being too much.

Makeup

O N E  |  CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Waterproof Mascara: I can try a million mascaras and still go back to this one. It keeps my lashes curled, voluminous, long, and stays on ALL DAY. I’m not joking when I say this does not budge! Sweat, tears, it’s staying on! I can’t wear regular mascara because it always smudges under my eyes, but getting it in Very Black Waterproof, I promise it’s not going anywhere.

T W O  |  SEPHORA COLLECTION MicroSmooth Baked Foundation Face Powder: This powder has a little shimmer to it, but in a good way! Powder usually makes your skin matte, but this one is your skin but glowy and evens out your skin tone. Love this because sometimes I can’t bother to wear any other face makeup.

T H R E E  |  BENEFIT COSMETICS Watt’s Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter & LITE STIX in Star Brite: I always talk about the Benefit Watt’s Up! highlighter being the best. It’s like a glow from  within. This colourpop one looks like a great dupe for that one! Both add a beautiful glow to the skin.

F O U R  |  TOO FACED Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer: Bronzer is a must during any season but during the summer I also use it as my only eyeshadow. The least amount of products I use the better. I’ve been using this Too Faced ones for years. It’s sooo good!

F I V E  |  URBAN DECAY All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray: If you wear makeup all day or in the sun, YOU NEED THIS SPRAY. Every time I use this product, my makeup lasts all day. I swear this is the best thing to apply when you’re going to be wearing makeup all day. MUST-HAVE.

S I X  |  Colourpop FUDG’D Ultra Glossy Lip: I only wear lip gloss during the summer. It’s light, shiny and easy to apply. Colourpop discontinued my favorite lip gloss, but their formula is amazing and I certainly want to buy more! I love that these aren’t sticky. They’re moisturizing and adds the perfect amount of color to your lips.

Hair

O N E  |  Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream: This smells SO GOOD. I use it when I want my hair to air dry and keep my waves from being frizzy. It also gives my hair a nice smell and texture! I also apply it to towel dried hair and put in a bun over-night and I have waves in the morning! Love heatless hairstyles in the summer (:

T W O  |  Batiste Clean & Classic Original Dry Shampoo: I use shampoo all year round, but I like to apply it to my hair after a long day in the sun when I can’t shower. It’s perfect when you want to go to the beach and dinner afterwards. Just apply it all over and it makes your hair smells like you just showered!

T H R E E  |  Renpure Tea Tree Lemon Sage Refreshing Moisture Scalp Shampoo & Renpure Tea Tree Lemon Sage Refreshing Moisture Conditioner: This feels so good on your scalp! It honestly does what the label says, “refreshing moisture scalp shampoo”. It almost feels cold on the scalp! It’s prefect to use after a long day in the sun because it’s cooling and moisturizing. 

F O U R  |  OGX Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum: My holy grail hair product! I use this on towel dried hair and it leaves my hair SO SMOOTH and SOFT. I have frizzy hair but when I apply this my hair comes out smooth and frizz-free! Also smells exactly like coconut!

F I V E  |  Herbal Essences Bio:Repair Sulphate Free Argan Oil with Morocco Hair Mask: Although skincare is super important, hair care is equally the same! We should pay more attention to our hair and make sure it’s healthy and moisturized! Apply a hair mask after a day at the pool or beach to get rid of any chemicals or dirt that may have gotten into your hair.

S I X  |  Sun Bum Protecting Heat Protector: Did you know your hair can change colors from the sun? I found this out the hard way when I started to realize my hair was getting very light at the bottom, almost like a red-brown color when my hair is black-brown! To protect it from the sun I usually wear a hat but this protects your hair from heat damage and UV rays!
