Easy wellness and health tips and tricks that will get you through a rough day. These are wellness hacks everyone should start practicing.

Hello, everyone! Today I wanted to give some health and wellness tips that will get you through your day. I don’t know about you, but the moment I wake up I know if it’s gonna be a good day or a rough day.ย

Sometimes rough days feel unbearable, so I always try my best to do some of these tips. They honestly help me get through my rough days, so I hope these can help you in any way possible.

Wellness Hacks For A Healthier Day

morning —

1. Drink A Glass of Cold Water

The first thing I do when I wake up is drink water. If you wake up feeling tired or sluggish you might be dehydrated. Try leaving a glass of water on your nightstand the night before, so you can drink it the next morning. It’s an easy wellness hack that saves my mornings.

2. Manifest One Thing for The Day.

Every morning, try setting an intention or manifest one thing for the day. It could be about your health, wellness, work, or personal life. Write it on a post-it so you can see it throughout the day. Setting an intention will help keep you focused on what you want or need to get done.

3. Brain Dump (helps with anxiety).

I know I always talk about doing a brain dump, but I swear it will help get all your scattered thoughts into one place. Take out a piece of paper or notes on your phone and start jotting down all your thoughts or worries. Then, start prioritizing those tasks and make a master to-do list. Seeing everything written out in one place will help with your anxiety so much!

4. Step Away From The Screen

It’s 2 o’clock and your eyes are red and dry from staring at a screen all day. Take a step away from the screen and go for a 10-minute walk. It’ll help your brain refocus and alert your body that it’s still time to work.

5. Make A Protein Smoothie

When you’re feeling tired or hungry, try making a protein smoothie. It will give you the necessary nutrients and protein you need to finish off the day.

My favorite protein smoothie includes:

โ€ข 1 small banana

โ€ข 1 tbsp almond butter

โ€ข 2 scoops of my favorite protein powder

โ€ข 1 cup of almond milk

โ€ข ice

6. Dim The Lights & Your Phone

A couple of hours before your bedtime set your phone to night shift, dark mode, and do not disturb (if your phone has those settings). Night shift will shift your phone’s light from blue light to yellow light, making it easier on your eyes so you can fall asleep faster. Dark mode makes your phone’s apps go from white to black. Do not disturb silences notifications.

If you don’t have one of these color-changing light bulbs already, then you should definitely get one. It allows you to control the color and brightness of the bulb. I always set mine to red at night, so I can fall asleep faster.

7. Reflect On Your Day

At the end of the day, write down some thoughts or reflections on your day. I feel like we are always thinking about the future and never about the present. Always take some time to reflect on the now and appreciate your day in the moment.

  2. I’m a certified health coach and 1000% agree with your wellness hacks. I especially appreciate stepping away from your screen and getting outside for a walk. Fresh and sunshine do a body good ? Another thing to consider is getting more movement throughout your day, like more frequent movement breaks. Or trying a standing or walking desk. Stretching throughout the day. Anything to break up from sitting all day ?
