Halloween might be canceled this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t dress up. Whether you are staying home for movie night, having a zoom Halloween party, having a small get together with friends or just need an Instagram picture, these costumes are perfect for any last-minute occasion! 5 Halloween Costume Ideas

1. katherine pierce from TVD

The legend and vampire badass b*tch herself, Katerina Petrova. The best character from The Vampire Diaries, in my opinion. She’s strong, independent, and a survivor. If you’re not a fan of the show or if someone has never heard of it, then just say you’re a vampire.

Costume:

Outfit: She mostly wore black or dark-colored clothes on the show with heeled black booties. A black dress or a black tank top, black jeans and a black jacket is perfect.

Makeup: A dark smokey eye with nude lips. She’s a vampire so make sure to add blood dripping down your mouth, and fangs if you have some! 

Hair: Her hair has to be curled. It was the main difference between her and Elena. 

2. not today, satan

Not today satan, not today.  Feel like being a little evil this Halloween? Then this is perfect and easy to recreate.

Costume:

Outfit: An all-red monochromatic look would be on point for this look. Don’t own red? Then an all-black outfit would also be perfect. This costume does need a trip to your local dollar store for the horns, though. But if you’re a DIY queen, make some horns at home.

Makeup: A red smokey eye with a bold red lip. 

Hair: Personal preference.

3. 90s baby

“Ugh. As if!” Shoutout to all the 90s babies. A simpler time, with the best fashion. Think Cher from Clueless, the cast of Friends, Drew Barrymore, and Ashley Banks from The Fresh Prince. Icons.

Costume:

Outfit: A denim jacket, tight crop top, straight loose jeans, and converse. More inspo above.

Makeup: Natural skin, matte finish, and dark or natural matte lips.

Hair: Personal preference, but straight hair and space buns were popular at the time.

4. who’s got spirit? i don’t.

Got an old cheerleader uniform? Then this is perfect for you. I, of course, had to include a “scary” costume idea on this list and dead cheerleader seemed fitting.

Costume:

Outfit: Cheerleader uniform. OR a skirt, tank top with a long sleeve underneath and white chunky sneakers with crew socks.

Makeup: Soft everyday glam. Then, add some scars on the face with blood.

Hair: Half-up, half-down with a bow.

5. aesthetic school girl

School is in session, ladies. Everyone and their mother owns a plaid skirt right now, so I know you have one. If not, a tennis skirt or sweater vest is fine too. Either way, it’s a cute Halloween costume you probably already have in your closet. 

Costume:

Outfit: Plaid skirt, a sweatshirt with a collared shirt underneath, and white shoes. More inspo above.

Makeup: Personal preference. Your everyday makeup is perfect.

Hair: Half-up, half-down, or personal preference.
