What Is the CurrentBody Series 3 LED Face Mask?

The CurrentBody Series 3 LED Face Mask is the first fully personalized, app connected LED light therapy mask. The app lets you create your own treatments with MyDose™, a new technology that calculates the appropriate dose for any treatment you create. It gives you LED by LED control across six clinically proven wavelengths that target multiple skin concerns, including wrinkles, blemishes, redness, and pigmentation, with results in as little as 4 weeks. Plus, all 750 LED bulbs are tested with Veritace® for quality, safety, and consistency.
Here are the new features of the Series 3 Mask:
First fully personalized, app-connected LED mask
Other LED masks tell you what your skin needs, but the CurrentBody Series 3 Mask lets you decide what you need for your skin. MyDose™ gives you LED by LED control across six clinically proven wavelengths. Select your treatment and MyDose™ automatically calculates your safest, most effective dose.
750 LEDs
The Series 3 has the most LEDs it’s ever had, with 750 across 125 chip sets. CurrentBody is the first brand to test every bulb in every single mask, before and after assembly, for wavelength accuracy and power output.
Six wavelengths
It uses six clinically proven wavelengths that penetrate the skin at different depths to target different concerns. It includes: Blue 415, Green 532, Yellow 590, Red 633, NIR 830, and Deep NIR 1072 nm.
App connectivity
You can now create your own treatments using the CurrentBody App. Choose wavelengths and placements to match your skin goals, then the app calculates your perfect dose for you. You can also save your go-to treatment without having to do it again, and share your treatment with friends and family by sending them your MyDose™ code!
Why Does Personalization Matter in LED Light Therapy?
Your skin concerns change throughout different seasons of your life, and your LED treatment should be able to change with them. Stressed about your new job and starting to break out? Try blue light to eliminate acne-causing bacteria. Notice more sun-related pigmentation after summer? Green light can help target pigmentation and promote a brighter, more even-looking complexion.
That’s what makes personalization so important. Instead of being locked into the same LED treatment every time, the Series 3 Mask lets you choose different wavelengths based on your skin needs right now.
But choosing the right wavelength is only part of the equation. To get the most out of LED light therapy, you also need to consider how much light your skin is receiving.
The Dose Problem in At-Home LED
There’s no denying that LED light therapy works. Decades of dermatological research have shown that specific wavelengths can target specific skin concerns. The challenge with at-home LED therapy is delivering the right wavelength at the right dose consistently. The key to optimal results isn’t just using LED light, but using the right wavelength at the right dose.
LEDs can vary during mass production, so not every individual LED is necessarily identical. If a company is making thousands of masks, they need a way to make sure the LEDs in each finished device are performing as intended. And when it comes to LED dose, more powerful doesn’t necessarily mean more effective.
Why “More Powerful” Isn’t Necessarily Better
When it comes to LED light therapy, more isn’t necessarily better. LED light follows a biphasic dose response, meaning the amount of light matters. Too little light may not make much of a difference, while too much can potentially reduce the benefits. That’s why the goal isn’t simply to find the most powerful LED mask. It’s about delivering the right wavelength at the right dose.

So, how does the CurrentBody Series 3 mask approach these challenges?
How the CurrentBody Series 3 LED Face Mask Addresses the Problem
The new CurrentBody Series 3 LED Face Mask solved both of these problems at once with MyDose™ and Veritace®.
MyDose™
MyDose™ is the personalization engine behind every Series 3 device. It allows you to choose your wavelengths and place them where your skin needs them, while MyDose™ calculates the perfect dose. Because no two people have the same skin concerns, your LED treatments shouldn’t be one size fits all either. Your skin changes, and your mask should change with it.
I’ll explain what each wavelength does, where you can use it, and how you can customize your own treatment later in the post. But first, here’s a look at how MyDose™ adjusts the dose for each wavelength:
Veritace®
Veritace® tests the wavelength accuracy and power output of every LED in the Series 3 mask. This is designed to help ensure each device delivers the treatment it was designed to provide. CurrentBody is the first brand to test every LED in every mask, before and after assembly, for wavelength accuracy and power output. Every device comes with an NFC card where you can simply tap the card included inside the box to see every stage of quality testing your mask has undergone – providing solid proof that your mask delivers results.

To sum it up, MyDose™ provides personalized dosing, and Veritace® ensures consistency and verification. Now that we’ve covered why personalization, dose, and safety matter, let’s take a closer look at the six wavelengths in the CurrentBody Series 3 LED Face Mask and how each one targets different skin concerns.
The Six LED Wavelengths Explained
The CurrentBody Series 3 LED Face Mask has 750 LEDs across 125 chip sets, emitting six precise wavelengths that penetrate the skin at different depths to target different concerns. While other masks run two, this one runs six, all Veritace®-certified. All six of these wavelengths are the most effective for anti-aging and skin rejuvenation. Here’s a closer look at what each wavelength does and where you can use it.

How is the Series 3 LED Face Mask Different From the LED Multi-Light Mask?
Both masks use the same six clinically proven wavelengths, but the main difference is personalization. The LED Multi-Light Mask (566 LEDs) has five fixed modes that treat your whole face at once, while the Series 3 LED Face Mask (750 LEDs) lets you choose different wavelengths for different areas of your face through the controller and CurrentBody app.
How to Use the CurrentBody Series 3 LED Face Mask
- Conduct a 24-hour sensitivity test on the inner arm before the first facial treatment.
- Wash and fully dry your face before use.
- Attach the mask and adjust the straps around your head.
- Press and hold the power button, select a preset, or open the CurrentBody App to create your personalized treatment.
- The mask will turn off automatically when your session is complete.
- Remove the mask and wipe clean with a damp cloth.

How Long and How Often Should You Use The Mask?
10 minutes per treatment, 3–5 times per week.
When Will You See Results?
You should see visible improvements in 4 weeks and full results in 8 weeks of consistent use. Here’s a closer look at the results for each wavelength:
40% reduction in spot count
Skin brightness increased by 26.8% in 4 weeks
Pigmentation reduced by 4.1% in 8 weeks
Skin elasticity improved by 57.1% in 4 weeks
Redness reduced by 8.6% in 8 weeks
Wrinkle volume reduced by 37.1% in 8 weeks
Is the CurrentBody Series 3 LED Face Mask Right for You?
LED light therapy shouldn’t be one size fits all. No one has the exact same skin concerns, so why should your LED treatment be the same as everyone else’s? If you’re looking for an LED mask that you can fully customize to target your personal skin concerns, then the CurrentBody Series 3 LED Face Mask is worth considering. You get the option to choose different wavelengths for different areas of your face, so you can adjust your treatment based on what your skin needs right now.
